Release Notes:
Dark and moody, the songs of death are spread among humans to aware them of what
is up to come. The end of the world is at hand and Elodea incarnates its funeral
melody. Almost drowned in a concept, Elodea blackens happiness coming up with
pounding drumming and pitched guitars so heavy that one can almost feel the
warmth of the flaming inferno. ’Cataclysmic’ is the debut cd from Slovenia’s
Elodea, showing up 5 epic tales of metallic doom creating all along the tunes
the sensation of getting away from the firm ground of earth, on depressive and
sinister alleys. Since 1999, Elodea has been developing their own brand of
sludge to end first on a self-titled demo release by Fuck Yoga Records in 2004.
The second stage is on allying beauty and emotions to the raw soundtracks of
sickened humanity and decaying world.
