Transmission0 was founded at the end of 2003 and released their debutalbum 0 worldwide in the summer of 2004 on Go-kart records. After that release the band got a lot of positive feedback in reviews, followed by interviews in OOR, Rocksound UK and France, Metalhammer Germany, Metal Maniacs and a lot of other magazines and websites. Already before they released 0 t0 played with international acts such as Keelhaul, Cult of Luna and Pelican. After releasing the record the band got asked to play the prestigious Furyfest in France. Here they shared the mainstage with bands such as Dillinger escape plan, Morbid Angel, Soulfly, Slipknot and Hatebreed. After their appearance at Furyfest the interest for the band grew and they got to play a lot of clubshows and did a European tour of almost a month with Canadian rockers The End (Relapse records). Because of all these shows, transmission0 is being considered as one of the leaders in the corner where bands like Isis, Cult of luna and Neurosis have their musical habitat. The thing that separates transmission0 from the aformentioned bands is the fact that they use clean singing parts, something not many bands in their genre dare to do. At the moment the band is working on their second album called 'Memory of a dream'. The demo-recordings are finished and the official recordings have begun. On these new recordings the band has taken a step forward and has a better notion of where it stands. The album sounds a lot more homogenic, heavy as fuck, but still serene. 'Memory of a dream' shall be released somewhere in the 06. Отличный релиз, особенно для тех кому по душе Isis и Cult Of Luna

Солидарен, также они похожи на Neurosis поэтому добавляю Sludge Metal и Post Hardcore

Post Metal не существует. Стиль должен изжить себя, а потом найти новое русло развития (пост гранж, пост рок). А металл еще жив, дай Бог здоровья, и процветает. Так что о пост металле пока рано говорить. Или может я отстал от моды?

Сейчас ведь время всяческих ухищрений... Где это ты вычитал о пост металле?

С появлением группы Dornenreich на металл-арене начали говорить о post-black-metal-е, а оказалось без оснований.

Lastly, a lot of atmospheric sludge bands moved on from a very heavy sound to a more experimental, post-rock sound. It can be seen in bands like Pelican and Callisto, comparing their first and last albums. Moreover, in one of their interviews, Pelican mentioned that the heaviness of their music is not the main priority for them any more like it used to be. That sound is now being reffered to as post-metal by many fans. Terms like postcore have also been used.

Devildriver я считаю очень перспективным коллективом. Dragonforce открыл второе дыхание power-heavy metal-у. А tehno-brutal death и neo-brutal death коллективы, нельзя списывать их со счетов, они развивают направление. А какже модные As I Lay Dying и вся mxc и dxc сцена... Не надо думать что его (металла) песенка спета.

Каждый из перечисленных тобой стилей имеет свое место в Heavy Metal, и процветать там уже некуда, все уже придумано давно и пройдено вдоль и поперек.

А то что ктото рубит не подетски сейчас, значит только либо не знание слушателя групп ранее игравших в этом жанре, либо то что сама группа просто продалась мажорному лэйблу и слюнявят капусту на жалком подобии оригинальных исполнителей.

Из уважения к перечисленным тобой группам, трогать их не буду, тема и так не про них, соглашусь только с тем, что у некоторых это неплохо получается, и иногда присутствют интересные звуки
