Well: after a fast listen, I wouldn't mention Gothic on this...
Imagine the voice of Coldplay (even some songs are similar... listen LIGHTS), with Franz Ferdinand guitar tune goin' thru soft songs a' la MUSE, pretty near to brit pop.
Maybe they're into gothic bag because of "the look": see the cover, watch the site (http://www.chosendarkness.com)... but they don't look like gothic...

So... expect COLDPLAY stuff.
