This Road Before ruminates on relationships both romantic and platonic, often
entangling into one poignant outburst. The songs flirt on the darker side of
things, but is not dark music. The opening track, Nothing Further From the
Truth, sets the tone for this quartet's debut.
Aaron Stern mentions, "after Matchbook Romance broke up, it really hit home
how difficult it is to find individuals who all share a similar elevated
