Release Notes:
'Solitude', true to hardcore ethics, is a fast paced, passion fuelled collection
of short, though certainly far from sweet outbursts. Although this EP will no
doubt alarm some of the more sensitive souls amongst you, those who long for a
bit of untamed, unadulterated belligerence should prepare to be impressed! The
Sheffield foursome appear to be the complete antithesis of say, Chris Carrabba,
and arrive at the perfect time to assail the stagnant and sorry scene with a
harder, faster brand of melodic punk. Comparisons to bands such as Minor Threat
and Black Flag are only too easy, yet The Legacy come armed with enough
aggression and intensity to stand alone, which considering the title of their
forthcoming EP, is apparently exactly where they want to be! The Legacy confront
the defeatist, if not soon to be defeated, broken heart brigade with a sound
that inspires action. Surely it's about time that someone came along and threw
some old fashioned testosterone back in the mix!
