All that Minnesota nice you’ve heard about? Bullshit. The good thing is that this cold, evil place was the perfect melting pot to create the metal enigma Rivkit; who have since established themselves as a pervasive thorn in the crown of the Minneapolis music scene. Their most recent accomplishment has been the anticipated unveiling of their new full length LP, "Words of Mass Deception". The sales of their new record continue to do well independently thanks to the promotion and advertising efforts of Rivkit and their supporters. So far, the album has received air play on national, college, and internet radio stations, and Rivkit has had the honor of making a live televised performance on the semi-nationally broadcasted cable show TC Muzique. They have also teamed up with Patrick Whalen of Fast Paced Management, whose other clientele includes American Head Charge and Five Fingered Death Punch. Currently, they are working with their management to secure a distribution deal and to acquire a dedicated booking agent.
