Forget all you think you know about Scenic Attraction. A lot has changed in the
band since its conception in 2001, but they are better for it. After going
through a band name change (formerly Simply Lost), national tour, line up
changes, and 3 CDs, Scenic Attraction are set to surprise with the release of
their latest CD. Adding guitarist Nick Pucci 2 years ago, and replacing a
guitarist with current member, Garrett Eberle, kept the band progressing toward
the goal of making good music. However, there was a minor bump in the road when
singer Nathaniel Taylor left the band. The remaining members worked hard and
quickly found a new singer to fit the band perfectly, Brent Weiss. With only two
original members, Randell Adams on bass and Jordan Coon on drums, the band does not
look at it as losing anything, but rather making a stronger group. Based in the quiet
Santa Clarita Valley, this group of kids is bound by their love of music, dedication
to the music they write, and each other. Scenic Attraction is not a band that is defined
by one genre anymore. Each member brings a unique flavor and style into the band. From
hardcore to pop and emo to rock, they have got it all represented. When it comes
to live performances, Scenic Attraction means to impress all the skeptics out
there. They are not the typical band with a quick on and off set. They want to
get the crowd to be a part of the family and be excited to watch the show. Crowd
interaction is a must. The live show that Scenic gives is extremely energetic
and fun to watch. In other words, don't plan on seeing Scenic Attraction if you
want to fall asleep. If you are a lover of music and a good time Scenic
Attraction is your kind of band. Don't worry about labeling, experience these
boys for yourself.
