Review - Hell Promise - Aim For Hell
This is not a metalcore project from AC/DC singer Brian Johnson, it is the metalcore project from the former Himsa guitarist Brian Johnson. The band's debut album is a nonstop barrage of thrash riffs, breakdowns and angry lyrics.
This is pretty standard metalcore, but Johnson's guitar work makes it stand out. He comes up with some really memorable riffs and a few catchy choruses. Johnson is also the vocalist for Hell Promise. His vocals are angry and emotional, but could use a little more diversity. His former Himsa bandmate John Pettibone does backing vocals on one track and wrote the lyrics for another.
Hell Promise grabs you by the throat from the opening barrage and doesn't let go until the final note.
это дебютный альбом группы, послушал - неплохо, но не понравилось (люблю побыстрее плюс вокал немножко не по душе), но может (и я надеюсь) кому-то придётся по вкусу
