Evans Blue have announced the title of their forthcoming sophomore album to be 'The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal of Life Ends'. They also released the following details about it:
We start recording our new album on Monday, January 22. It's finished as far as writing goes. It will have 13 songs and like our last album will have a concept and a running theme. The last album dealt with a relationship from start to finish and all the drama in between. The new album takes on much darker themes and imagery and ties it all together with one common thread. I don't want to reveal too much about the subject matter, but I can say that it will hit home for a lot of listeners. It twists and turns through life's painful emotions and just when you think it is at its lowest, point there is an uplifting sensation. There is always hope; though it may be covered in dirt, it is always there.
