Rock fans will remember Josh Todd as the distinctively tattooed singer for the hard-rocking band Buckcherry who scored a Grammy nomination and critical acclaim for the song “Lit Up.” Buckcherry didn’t turn into the next rock phenomenon, yet Todd was not done spreading his musical message. Todd posted an ad in Music Connection, a local Los Angeles musician rag, to find a new band that was hungry, raw and “ready to take a bullet.” Although he admits that he was apprehensive immediately after posting the ad, Todd quickly heard from a band seeking a singer.
