і Formed in late 2004 from the ashes of Life Love Regret and No Jazz
і Before The Rumble, THE DEAD WALK! attracted instant attention due
і to each members long history in the Newcastle and Sydney hardcore
і scenes. Late 2004 saw THE DEAD WALK! release a five track demo
і entitled "When There's No More Room In Hell", which gave audiences
і a taste of what was to come. The well received demo was followed
і with the bands Resist Records debut, "Re-animation" EP, released
і in July 2005 and recently The Dead Walk! finished work on their
і debut album "We Prowl The Streets". "We Prowl The Streets" is a
і testament to the bands growth and fine-tuning showcasing all the
і aggression that their demo and "Re-animation" had, yet expanding
і their sound into something truly unique. Produced and engineered
і by Lachlan Mitchell (Toe To Toe, Something With Numbers, In The
і Grey), and recorded at Sydney's Standing Wave Studios "We Prowl
і The Streets" is a 30 minute onslaught of a combination of
і personal, political, humorous and gratuitously violent messages
і over a soundtrack of mid 90's Cleveland, late 80's New York
і inspired hardcore, clearly influenced by the likes of Integrity,
і Ringworm, In Cold Blood and Madball. THE DEAD WALK! have supported
і a number of bands that would make any up and coming hardcore band
і envious. Including such hardcore legends as Madball, Hatebreed,
і Terror, Throwdown, Champion, Most Precious Blood, Bleeding
і Through, Comeback kid and Parkway Drive. THE DEAD WALK! are
і showing no signs of slowing down, set to tour with US act Ringworm
і in July/August, then back on the road in September and October for
і their own run of headlining shows, as well as appearing at the
і Hardcore 2006 Festival on July 15 in Sydney. NCHC 2006.
