Discography:God Lives Underwater was an industrial techno rock band from rural Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania (near Philadelphia) formed in 1993 by band members David Reilly and Jeff Turzo (side-project - Wired All Wrong). God Lives Underwater were originally signed to American Recordings after being discovered by Rick Rubin, who subsequently produced the band's first two albums.
Supposedly, the name God Lives Underwater was derived from Jeff Turzo's previous band GLU. David Reilly used those initials to form the almost meaningless name from that.
Much to fans' dismay, David Reilly died unexpectedly on October 17, 2005 at 5:15am from complications of a coma brought on by a bleeding tooth in his sleep. He was only 34.
