God Is In The TV EP Review
"It's all very well Lost Prophets having mass appeal and big choruses that the kids can shake their skinny fists to. But they have no edge, no true aggression. I expect that matey boy from Lost Prophets wished he could combine inventive post punk, visceral messed up sonics, with big, emotional, chart friendly, punch you in the face chorus lines. But he just can't do it. Robots Talk In Twos can, and they are fucking brilliant...
The whole EP is blistering throughout, the guitars are exceptional, one moment dense and aggressive, the next chorused and spacey. They are always lean, and taught, and never overplayed. The drumming is also fantastic, as are the vocals, which have a great range, from restraint, to passionate screaming, to those big, epic, melodic moments..
Robots Talk In Twos are certainly not standard. They are a breath of fresh air, taking the best of other bands and producing an EP without a weak track...I think they could be a classic band. Currently they are one of the best bands to come out of the UK in a long time, masterfully bridging the gaps between hardcore, post punk, and accessible rock. Watch this space."

"Prog-metallers Robots Talk In Twos hail from Newport, and after self-releasing a handful of demos under their old name of Trip, this is their debut release in their current form. As they've undergone loads of touring and some line-up changes over the last couple of years, you'd expect the music to have suffered.
It hasn't. If their early material was impressive, the evolution they've undergone in the interim is more than some bands undergo in their whole careers. All too often a band will show promise on early EPs only to piss away their potential before they reach a major labels studio. If Robots Talk In Twos can sustain this flow of invention for an entire album, then surely they're poised to go on to great things in coming years.." 5/5
