Rock fans will remember Josh Todd as the distinctively tattooed singer for the hard-rocking band Buckcherry who scored a Grammy nomination and critical acclaim for the song “Lit Up.” Buckcherry didn’t turn into the next rock phenomenon, yet Todd was not done spreading his musical message. What he did next is quite unorthodox. Todd posted an ad in Music Connection, a local Los Angeles musician rag, to find a new band that was hungry, raw and “ready to take a bullet.” Although he admits that he was apprehensive immediately after posting the ad, Todd quickly heard from a band seeking a singer.

The band’s intensity and Todd’s personality make this record for those who are looking for a rock-solid album that knows how to hit the accelerator and not let off. Melodically, Josh Todd can hang in when other hard rock acts on today’s scene need to rest on the crutch of rapping – he’s better than that.
