Jan Axel Blomberg, also known by his stage name Hellhammer and the lesser known aliases Mr. Hellhammer, Hauptman Hammer, Jan Axel Von Blomberg, and simply Von Blomberg, is a black and avantgarde metal drummer from Oslo, Norway. He is endorsed by Sabian Cymbals, Axis Pedals and Pearl drums. He is well known for his drumming with the band Mayhem. He joined Mayhem in 1988 following the departure of the drummer and founding member Kjetil Manheim. In addition to Mayhem, one of his long-standing bands is the avant-garde metal band Arcturus which he formed with Steinar Sverd Johnsen in 1987, originally under the name Mortem.
Hellhammer also worked in a mental hospital prior to his musical career. [1]
In 2005 and 2006 he performed session drums for Dimmu Borgir for their forthcoming full-length as well as the Stormblåst (re-recorded) release. He is known today for having a prolific career in the underground extreme metal scene.

а вот альбомы этих ребят я искал очень долго... и в конце концов спутал со шведскими Covenant и удивился: электроника??? вот нашёл... сейчас наслаждаюсь их первым альбомом..
